Greetings Celebrities, Surfers, and All Friends of the Ocean,

Are you aware that the Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) in Japan plans to dump over 1 million tons of radioactive waste into the Pacific Ocean? We are mobilizing noteworthy environmentalists, organizations, political leaders, and celebrity ambassadors to add their endorsement to our campaign to say no to toxic dumping.

The radioactive isotopes in the wastewater have not all been cleared to safe levels and can greatly affect human health and negatively impact the entire food chain. There are safer decommissioning alternatives, and we have proactive eco-solutions.         In February Japan announced that they will delay the dump until it has been determined to be safe by an independent panel of scientific experts, who Hanalei and our team have met with. We can continue to influence this decision and change the course of history.

We’re thrilled to have the support of 15 year-old sustainable fashion designer, artist, and surfer, Hanalei Swan. Named for the Hawaiian shores, she’s hand-painted the ‘Shima Swan Surfboard’ to give to Japan in moral consideration of the impact of this decision on our next 7 generations of youth. The surfboard, generously donated by Ripcurl Asia, features the 16 native flowers of the Pacific Island Nations who will be most affected by the dump, and we hope to get these Presidents to endorse the Surfboard prior to the water blessing and gifting ceremony.

Simultaneously, we are mobilizing youth around the globe to submit their own artistic designs for more unique gifts to Presidents and CEOs in a larger Mother Earth Speaks series of campaigns to champion integrated and innovative climate action solutions.

We cordially invite you to participate in the #OceanHealthNow campaign with Hanalei and Mother Earth by:
